Today was superb, and I know that sounds really awkward to describe my day as "superb", but honestly, I had such a good day. It was so relaxed and fun in every way. I discovered a lot of things about myself that I hadn't realized before, and I'm starting to really enjoy everything more. I'm not saying that I didn't before, but my eyes have sort of opened up and everything is just so much more clear. That sounds much more deep and significant than it actually is, but what Im trying to say is that I've just been sort of enlightened, and I think I'm going to just take life on differently, though I'm not sure how yet.
I've started appreciating my class more recently, too. I'm learning to value and take advantage of my time in highschool. I realized how close we all have finally gotten and we all seem to enjoy each other's company and it's just sad that we'll be taken apart when we go to college just when we started getting close. It's pretty sad. Good thing I still have a year and a half left with everybody :)

Something you might wanna see. This/variations of it went to pretty much every college I applied to.
ReplyDelete"Tennis is Love"
Everyone has favorite hobbies or activities, right? Whether it’s playing football, reading, or building robots, everyone knows how they like to spend their time.
Well, I’m no different. “Search: Profiles > Mark Ha > Interests > Favorite Sport: TENNIS!!!” My favorite sport, by far, is tennis. It’s the only sport where I look forward to practice after school. It’s the only sport where I would care enough to record the US Open 2008 Finals on tape (I’m so glad Roger Federer won), for later viewing and re-viewing. It’s the only sport where I, well, almost constantly have fun. Which is not to say that I spend my time on the court messing around and not improving. If anything, my Love – yes, Love with a capital “L” – for tennis motivates me to get better; it makes me want improve for the sake of being able to hit that beautiful slice, that eye-widening ace. Even more, my Love for tennis motivates me to play, just to play.
Tennis generates the most wonderful feeling, whether I am winning, losing, or whether nobody is even keeping score (that was in order from least to greatest frequency). The only disadvantage to being in love with tennis is that tennis is not a year-round sport, unless you have an accessible indoor court, the money to rent the court, and at least one other tennis lover to play with you. Alas, I have neither the money, nor the transportation, nor the time, nor the friend, and so… the winter season leaves me without my beloved for far too long. Pity me, for she brings me a happiness that cannot be easily reproduced. Whether I am on the court, watching from behind the fence, or at Dick’s Sporting Goods browsing for a new racket, tennis owns my heart. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: “If tennis were a girl, I’d marry her in a heartbeat.”
